Reservations Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Reservations Manager to join our client, a 5 star hotel locatted centrally in Malta.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
-Ensure prompt and accurate processing of all bookings and rooming lists;
-Lead the reservations team in room allocation to meet guests’ needs and maximize revenue;
-Collaborate closely with Front Desk & Sales Teams to prevent overbooking situations;
-Manage pre-booked supplementary services, including invoicing and promotion;
-Share knowledge of hotel services and local attractions within the Reservations Department;
-Conduct daily briefings to review activities and address queries;
-Proactively identify and respond to hotels’ and customers’ needs;
-Provide assistance with room moves, billing issues, and other queries;
-Support Sales Team in hosting customers outside office hours to drive revenue;
-Respond promptly to leads from existing and new producers;
-Stay updated through professional development activities;
-Ensure the team’s training needs are met;
-Be adaptable to learning new tasks and effectively delegate;
-Undertake any additional responsibilities as needed by the company.
Qualifications
Experience
-Experience working in the hospitality industry;
-Previous experience in a similar role;
-Proficiency in revenue management principles.

-Excellent communication skills;
-Professional and positive attitude with all business stakeholders especially during emergency situations and/or heavy activity, serving as a role model to the team.
