The Role
Working closing with the Credit controller and Senior Management, the chosen candidate will be executing general accounting and reporting duties, issuing of invoices, chasing of debtors and other Accounts related tasks.
Responsibilities
Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. Run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful accounting clerk should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers.
Ultimately, a successful Accounting Clerk will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in similar position
- Have good sound knowledge of SAGE.
- Be highly organised, hardworking and ready to take responsibility
- Able to work in a fast growing business environment
- Dynamic and Good Negotiation skills
