Electrical Foreman

Future Habitats Ltd. distributor for Legrand, BTicino, Somfy & Evoline are seeing to employ an experienced Electrical Foreman. The role of the Electrical Foreman is to:

- Assign duties to electricians and helpers.
- Ensure safety and enforce the use appropriate Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure that work carried out is in compliance to the Maltese Electrical Standards.
- Inspect the work being carried out and ensure that this is in accordance to our remit.
- Identify circuit issues and repair defects in electrical systems.
- Train subordinates in improved work practices.
- Estimate and order supplies and materials needed by electricians so that these are available in a timely manner.
- Review work reports accuracy.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide high quality, seamless service.

Qualifications

The candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:

•Licence A & B.
•Minimum six (5) years of experience as an Electrician with at least two (2) years in a Foreman role
•Knowledge of the current IEE regulations including upcoming regulations.
•Knowledge and skill in safe operation and application of instrumentation related to electrical work.
•Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, instructions, and other technical
documentation
