The IT administrator is responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and security systems. This role is absolutely essential to ensure business continuity across the Group.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for investigating and diagnosing network problems
• Making recommendations to improve the company's IT systems
• Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
• Providing support to colleagues on a daily basis, several times a day and assisting them with basic IT needs
• Setting up new users and managing security and passwords
• Responsible for the Group’s IT back up system and the management of server tapes
• Acting as the company's internet supervisor, monitoring that internet and email use is legitimate

Qualifications

The candidate should ideally have:

• A working knowledge of IT operating systems
• Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
