Excavator and Heavy Plant Operator

We are looking for an experienced Excavator and Heavy Plant Operator. The ideal Candidate must be able to use the Heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Duties required by the candidate


Operate the excavator other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

Operate the equipment manually and also through the use of electronic or technical methods of operation.

Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary.

Operate Excavator on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings.

Maintain proper coordination and cooperation with the road and transport system while driving/working, so that the normal activities are not disrupted.

Report to the senior operation manager

Perform other duties, as and when assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Extensive Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules an
