Job Description:

+ Troubleshoot, maintain and modify PLCs and programming to repair, improve and optimize processes;
+ Troubleshoot and maintain variable speed drive, controlled high speed production equipment, sensors and switching equipment;
+ Repair, install and set up VFDs;
+ Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to increase equipment reliability and up-time;
+ Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment;
+ Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times;
+ Able and willing to work on shift basis. Weekend and holiday availability is required;
+ Availability to work mandatory overtime required.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

+ Licence A and B;
+ MCAST diploma or equivalent;
+ Superior attention to safe work practices;
+ PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required;
+ 3 or more years in industrial electrical / programming experience required;
+ Experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed computer-controlled production machinery required;
+ Knowledge of Servos and related controllers including hydraulic and pneumatic, temperature and pressure controls;
+ Excellent computer skills;
+ AutoCad background a plus;
+ At least 3 years of experience;
+ Will be provided with training;
+ Contract dependent of level of qualification and experience.
