Operations Assistant

The company is seeking to recruit an Operations Assistant to work on a full-time basis. This person will be responsible for organising and directing activities that encompass warehousing, delivery, and inventory control. The operations assistant will coordinate these activities together with the rest of the team to ensure efficient utilisation of warehouse and transportation resources. The Operations Assistant will report to the Senior Operations Manager and shall be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the cold storage facilities and distribution of goods to company customers.

In this position, the incumbent shall be responsible and must ensure that goods are well stored and maintained at the appropriate temperatures. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing quality, cost effective distribution services to customers.

The ideal candidate should have good computer knowledge, the ability to communicate in English and Maltese and be able to work in a flexible nature according to the operational demands of the day. Experience with previous roles and knowledge of Eyesel software programs will be considered an asset.
