Counter Assistant

We are looking for a full-time Counter Assistant for the Arkadia Foodstores in Gozo. The person chosen for this role will be reporting to the Duty Manager.

The ideal candidates will be forming part of a dynamic team and will be making sure that the preparation and sale of goods from the fish counter is done in a courteous and professional manner. If you are a proactive team player and customer oriented, then this may be the role for you.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should:

? be flexible to work on a shift basis including weekends and public holidays
? be health and safety conscious
? be proactive and innovative
? maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
? have a food handling licence and ideally HACCP training
? be computer literate
• be in possession of a food handling license

Previous experience within a similar role will be considered an asset.
