Steel Manufacturing Supervisor

E & L Enterprises is currently seeking to recruit a Steel Manufacturing Supervisor on a full-time basis to form part of our Steel Manufacturing Team. This role entails coordination and verbal communication with staff members.

The Steel Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees;
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules;
• Oversee and coach employees;
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance;
• Check production output according to specifications;
• Submit reports on performance and progress;
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements;
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures;
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards;
• Communicate with the drawing office department and read shop drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience;
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings;
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management;
• Strong teamwork skills;
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control;
• Responsible and reliable persons will be considered.
