Meeting Point Hotel Management Malta

Meeting Point Hotel Management (Malta) Ltd. operates a number of hotels in Malta under the brand name of LABRANDA Hotels and Resorts and is seeking to recruit a Painter on a Full-Time.

Duties include, but will not be limited to:

• Applying protective coats of paint, varnish, lacquer to surfaces of walls, ceilings, furniture, equipment, and other surfaces;
• Scraping, sanding, priming, or sealing surfaces prior to painting;
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler;
• Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before painting with cloth or plastic to ensure protection;
• Examining and maintaining painted exterior and interior painted surfaces, trimming and fixtures;
• Matching paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects;
• Work on ladders to reach high ceilings or walls;
• Work on a shift basis including nights.

Qualifications

The selected candidate must:

• Have previous experience in a similar role;
• Be able to work on own initiative;
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Have a basic level of English.
