Classic, reverse osmosis system, HQ+ membrane 75GLD, cleaning valve, Aquili

Aquili HQ + membranes
The membranes characterized by the acronym HQ + (High Quality Plus) represent the latest generation of osmotic membranes that synthesize all the technological innovations of recent years.

They are membranes with a high salt retention rate, in fact they are able to retain up to 99% of the dissolved salts. These values, until recently, were achieved only by the best industrial membranes with very high costs and with operating pressures of 10 - 15 bar.

In addition, the particular composition of the membrane structure allows for more osmotic water to be drawn and waste to be reduced while maintaining a very high water quality.

With normal membranes, 15% to 20% of the water that enters the membrane can be withdrawn while 80% - 85% is discarded.

The HQ + membranes, on the other hand, allow to recover from 30% to 50% of the total water.

Aquili HQ + 75 GLD membrane

At 45 PSI (~ 3 Bar) 30% water recovery 99% salts retained
At 60 PSI (~ 4 Bar) 40% water recovery 98% salts retained
At 75 PSI (~ 5 Bar) 50% water recovery 97% salt retained

The minimum pressure for the membrane to develop its performance is 2.5 - 3.0 bar - Below the osmotic water is of excellent quality, but the production is similar to that of a standard membrane.

The maximum operating pressure is 5.0 bar - That normally developed by a Booster pump - Above this pressure, the diaphragm calibration must be changed to avoid malfunctions or collapses of the diaphragm itself.
Membrane tested at 250 ppm = 390 microsiemens = 14 d ° KH of salts in solution.

25 ° of temperature
pH 6.5 - 7.0
