Pet Nutrition House Ltd. is a well established Company in the local and foreign market, distributors and Exporters of the Maltese brands Prince and Princess pet food. We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our fantastic Team.

As a Junior Accountant, the selected candidate will report directly to the CFO and prepare the monthly Management Accounts.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Set up monthly supplier payments and other ad hoc payments for processing
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and cash accounts
• Carry out general ledger postings in Shireburn
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Handle debtors
• Assist CFO during audits
• Payroll

Qualifications

Be fluent in Maltese & English. Any other foreign language would be considered an asset.

Qualifications and Experience:
A-level education and/or AAT qualification in Accounts
ECDL Qualification or Equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset.
