Maintenance Technician / Handyman

Vella & Pace Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the company’s residential and commercial rental properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across various company properties.

Perform preventative and routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Schedule and oversee maintenance of elevators, air-conditioning units, and household appliances.

Identify and resolve issues promptly — from small fixes to coordinating larger repair works.

Source and purchase required materials, tools, and parts while keeping to approved budgets.

Conduct regular property inspections and report any issues that need attention.

Maintain accurate records of works performed, materials purchased, and maintenance schedules.

Liaise professionally with tenants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements & Skills:

Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.

Strong practical skills in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair works.

Ability to troubleshoot and carry out small repairs independently.

Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsible, trustworthy, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Good budgeting and record-keeping abilities.

Must be fluent in Arabic and English; knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset.

Valid driving licence and clean conduct certificate preferred.
