Part-time 3 days a week to work as a pet grooming assistant morning and afternoon. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level pet grooming assistant, or anyone looking for a career change. As a pet grooming assistant you will help the senior pet groomer to wash, hold and care for animals of all kind. You will also be required to do general tasks in the pet shop.
Your responsibilities will include:
Washing and prepping the animals for grooming
Greeting and welcoming customers and pets
Cleaning the tables and the shop and helping customers
We will provide training, however some animal handling experience would be preferable. You will learn how to deal with different species or breeds of companion animals
The successful candidate will:
Have a love for animals of all shapes and sizes
Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
