Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to transport material.


Essential Duties:
• Transport of material in a timely and safety manner.
• Inspect Vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document and log work/ rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations and parking) as well with company policies and procedures.
• Collect and check delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.

Qualifications

Experience Required
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, conditions, etc).


Minimum Requirements
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Extensive Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Trucking school diploma.
• Valid driving licence.
