Information Systems Administrator

The IS administrator is responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and security systems. This role is absolutely essential to ensure business continuity across the Group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for investigating and diagnosing network problems
Collecting IT usage statistics
Making recommendations to improve the company's IT systems
Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
Providing support to colleagues on a daily basis, several times a day and assisting them with basic IT needs
Constantly sharing own knowledge to help others
Setting up new users and managing security and passwords
Responsible for the Group’s IT back-up system and the management of server tapes
Acting as the company's internet supervisor, monitoring that internet and email use is legitimate
Organizing files and documentation to ensure a proper knowledge management system
Qualifications
The candidate should ideally have:
A working knowledge of IT operating systems
Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Good organisational skills
Good time management and prioritisation capabilities
