Scope: The main purpose of this job is to handle quotation requests made by Medlog’s Turkish agent towards its clients in Turkey and its bordering countries.

Need Of Position: One of Medlog’s main markets is the Turkish market, hence a native Turkish speaker who has shipping knowledge is essential for the job.

Essential Duties:
1-Handling requests via email and making online offers/ quotations
2-Contacting, viva voce, Medlog’s Turkish agent and their eventual clients.
3-Meeting agents and their respective clients

Qualifications

The selected candidate/s will be expected to have the following abilities/ attributes / knowledge:
- A good understanding of the “Terms of Carriage”
- A good understanding of the “INCO terms”.
- A very educated approach when handling telephone calls and answering emails since the vast majority of the work is email based.
- Has the ability to learn how to use new IT/IS systems in the shortest of times.
- Is very meticulous in terms of document handling
- Must be very organised.
- Is capable of working under pressure and can work within limited timeframes.
- Must (without exception) be able to speak and write in English, Turkish and Italian.
- Must be an honest, hardworking and a genuine team player.
- Must be willing to occasionally travel abroad and attend internal courses.
- Must be in possession of a degree in Logistics.
- A minimum of one work reference must be provided.
