Skilled, Semi-Skilled and Assistant Electricians

Skilled Assistant Electricians will be required to:
1. Perform & oversee manual work for all phases of electrical projects, ensuring that specifications are being followed, work is proceeding on schedule & within budget;
2. Assemble, install, commission, maintain & test electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools & power tools;
3. Verify equipment to be used according to the job card, client exigencies & system limitations;
4. Prepare and submit required reporting paperwork/certification work/documentation on electrical systems;
5. Perform occasional painting, plastering, plumbing, tiling and carpentry works as required.
6. Skilled Assistant Electricians will need to serve as Team Leader, by planning and scheduling work on assigned site, coordinating & monitoring work among site team members, ensuring required equipment, materials & tools required for the job are available & that company property assigned is taken care of

Qualifications

Able to communicate clearly in English or Maltese;
• Relevant experience in similar role (minimum of 2 years’ experience for junior level assistant electrician and min. of 5 years in case of skilled and semi-skilled Electricians);
• Hands-on experience working with power tools;
• Basic literacy and numeracy (for daily report writing);
• Able to work on own initiative and work as part of a team;
• Have own means of transport and clean conduct
