Sales and Service Engineer (Electrical Engineer)

Famalco Group is currently looking to employ an Electrical Engineer to join the ever growing Fritz Energy and Engineering team. The role requires for a resourceful, practical and business minded individual who will put in his time and effort to the development of this company.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Become a subject matter expert on the sector, products, processes and operations of this company.

· Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.

· Liaise with clients, making sure that the equipment to be installed on their premises satisfies both their expectations and regulations.

· Vet equipment standards and ensure compliance with the latest European and Maltese regulations.

· Draft bills of quantities and build quotations for tendering purposes.

· Liaise with suppliers, ensuring proper material ordering, shipping and delivery within the required timeframes.

· Take up the role of the project manager during refurbishment works.

· Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally the candidate must:

· Be in possession of an Electrical Engineering Degree.

· Be fluent in both Maltese and English (both verbal and written).

· Be able to work well in a team.

· Have basic knowledge of 2D ACAD.

· Have a positive attitude towards work and take on challenging tasks.

· Previous experience in the building sector will be considered an asset.

· Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing with company management, co-workers and third parties at different settings.

· Handling multiple projects, assignments and duties.

· Strong in project management, analytical and negotiating skills.

· Strong leadership qualities, be a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
