Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Managing Director, the selective candidate will be responsible for:
• Analysing and understanding architectural / engineering drawings and specification;
• Managing all cost of projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures;
• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders;
• Handling estimates and quotes while adhering with quantity surveying processes;
• Issue detailed take-offs and claims to client
• Measure claims of subcontractors and certify;
• Tracking the flow of materials;
• Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
• Value completed works and arrange payments.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in quantity surveying;
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of proficiency in methods of measurements and specifications;
• Have good negotiation and communication skills;
• A very good command in English is a prerequisite and knowledge of the Maltese language will be considered a strong asset.
