CNC machinist

- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and jigs.
- May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, tool shop mathematics, material differences and machining procedures.
- Utilize powered and un-powered hand-held tools
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Attention to detail and identify product defects to produce a high-quality product the first time around
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Responsible for the tools entrusted for the job at hand
- Be flexible to work on different projects simultaneously

? Keep records of approved and defective units of final products
? Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
? Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
