Maltalingua is seeking an energetic, motivated, organized and responsible individual to join our dynamic team in the role of Junior Programme Manager. This exciting position is ideal for candidates seeking to gain managerial experience in a growing, accredited and award winning Language school.

This full-time, year round position predominantly centers around the Easter, Summer and Autumn periods. Leading up to these periods involves a considerable amount of pre-planning and for this the applicant must be able to effectively manage their time and the time of others.

The applicant must have a hard work ethic, proven leadership qualities and exude a positive and ‘can do’ attitude at all times.

Duties
• Planning and promoting activities and excursions
• Managing welfare and discipline on activities and excursions
• Dealing with problems and emergencies as they arise
• Actively promoting Maltalingua’s Junior Programmes
• Participating in the recruitment and ongoing training of activity leaders and Interns
• Managing stock levels with regular stock checks and orders
• Creating weekly rosters for activity staff
• Delivering regular meetings to activity staff
• Management of junior accommodation

Qualifications

• Highly organized and sociable
• Able to strike a balance between professional and fun
• Complete Fluency in English, knowledge of further languages will be considered an asset
• Hard working with an eye for detail
• Prior experience working with minors
• A leader with a strong sense of team work
