Route Settlement Clerk

• Collect, account for and bank cash received and issue receipts.
• Check sales documents to ensure that these have been completed properly.
• Count money to verify amounts and counter check accuracy with corresponding sales documents.
• Prepares daily takings for bank deposit in accordance with cash in transit procedures.
• Performs route settlement from the financial to the inventory settlement stage and closes route settlement transactions.

Qualifications

The chosen applicant is expected to have a good command of English both orally and in writing. He/she must be computer literate, possess strong numerical skills, and be capable of working independently and within a team. In addition, an A-level standard of education and previous experience working in an office environment will be considered an asset. Good knowledge of bookkeeping will be considered an asset.

Candidates are expected to work on a shift roster basis.
