Maintenance Technician

To service restaurants equipment including cooking equipment, heating equipment etc.
2. To install and repair any electrical and plumbing duties.
3. To work on sheet metal and welding works when necessary
4. To repair or change any defected tiles.
5. To do furniture repairs to upkeep the restaurant.
6. To periodically clean the extraction ducts.
7. To take care of any emergency drainage and toilet repairs.
8. To unblock kitchen sinks when necessary
9. To perform any other maintenance duties that may be required by the company.
10. To run and upkeep the spare parts store.
11. To assist in the transporting of equipment/furniture between restaurants.
12. To paint and plaster wall as necessary.
13. To report any damages or breakages to the Technical Operations Manager
14. To maintain a good relationship with suppliers of parts and servicing companies.
15. Servicing and Maintenance of Refrigeration
Qualifications
Have previous experience in a technical environment
• Have knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration
• Have a journeyman’s certificate and an electrical wireman’s license A&B
• Carry out preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment
• Have a positive work attitude and safety awareness
• Works on own initiative
• Be self-motivated and flexible
• Able to work normal working hours and be on call 24/7
