The chosen candidate will:
1. Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi, according to the clients’ needs,
2. Manage sushi preparational activities
3. Co-ordinate with the rest of the staff to ensure that requests and food allergies of the clients are observed,
4. Monitor food stock and place orders as required,
5. Recommend new and modern recipes,
6. Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking areas and materials at his disposal,
7. See to customer’s needs, queries and complaints;
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Asian cuisine especially in the preparation of all types of sushi, maki, nigiri and sashimi. Previous experience would be considered an asset.
