Shop Manager in Training

Rovic Ironmongery Stores Ltd are looking to recruit an individual as a Shop Manager in Training on a full-time basis. The Shop Manager in Training will be supporting the Shop Manager and the rest of the staff in the running and organization of the shop.

Duties:
•Ensuring that the store is always well organised and in a position to receive customers
•Ensuring standard of service to all customers in the shop
•Striving to meet sales goals and objectives
•Assisting the Shop Manager in ensuring the Shop is well stocked and that all shop stock is accounted for.
•Managing daily cash deposits in the Store Manager’s absence.
•Assisting Shop Manager in administrative work.

Qualifications

•Fluent in English and Maltese
•Trustworthy
•Self-Motivated
•People’s Person
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•Must be able to lift heavy items
•Must be willing to work daily including weekends
•Previous experience in retail/storekeeping will be considered an asset.
