Naan Bar, an Indian Restaurant opening in Valletta, is inviting talented, experienced and highly motivated individuals to apply for the position of a Restaurant Manager.

The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for various duties, amongst which:

- Ensures prompt, efficient and accurate service to all the customers to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
- Optimizes seating capacity by constantly monitoring reservation status and professionally allocating tables.
- Proposes changes in policies and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service level.
- Conducts daily briefings to communicate necessary information.
- Controls the reservation and the seating of the restaurant according to the service standards.
- Ensures all the staff in the department is fully trained through constant on-the-job training.
- Responsible for setting procedures and training to ensure fast and courteous service
- Ensures career development plans and succession planning for staff.
- Uses an effective appraisal system to review the performance of his/her direct staff and determines their development needs.
- Counsels staff in work-related matters.

Qualifications

In order to fulfill this demanding role, applicants will ideally:

- Have an eye for detail, a positive attitude and are self-motivated
- Be specialized and highly experienced in management of a large/fine-dining restaurant
- Be highly knowledgeable in the management of stock, supplies and other restaurant equipment
- Be Experienced in following HACCP guidelines and experienced working in accordance to food-safety/hygiene-based procedures set by the Management.
