Driver / Delivery Person

A well-presented and polite person is needed to deliver provisions and other items to ships calling at the various ports including Grand Harbour and Freeport. Duties will include loading van/truck according to the orders (lifting up to 50kg), driving a large 5 ton van or 18 ton truck, making sure that the goods are delivered to the ships on time, speaking to the Captain, ensuring that service provided is of a high level.

Qualifications

Applicants for this role must be hard working, able to work within a team, have excellent customer service skills and be fluent in English.


Applicants also need to be willing and available to work evenings and weekend whenever necessary. A Clean Driving Licence and Police Conduct Certificate are essential. The special Licence to drive the trucks and the ability to drive fork lifters would be an asset but not essential as long as the person is willing to learn.
