Job opportunity: Self Employed Caretaker / Handyman

The owners of a prestigious complex of apartments situated in Swieqi are looking to engage the services of a competent, self-employed caretaker to assist in maintaining the common areas of this complex in a presentable and clean state. The complex consists of gardens with pathways, a swimming pool with deck and an outdoor car park.

This service is required for around 25 to 30 hours a week depending on the season spread over 5 or 6 days, and includes mornings. The selected person will have their own workshop/office with toilet on the property.

Duties and responsibilities:

General upkeep and cleaning of the common areas
Daily taking out of garbage bags from deposit room to the road for collection
General gardening and watering of plants and removal of weeds
Cleaning of pool and putting in chlorine as required
Keeping the pool deck and sunbeds tidy
General maintenance and handyman duties when required
Inspect common areas on a regular basis to identify any issues.
Ensuring that the property is well kept and of a high standard

Requirements:

Have a good level of spoken English
Have a friendly and helpful personality
Pays attention to detail
Be familiar with general handyman tasks
Experience in any of the duties mentioned above will be considered an asset
The chosen person must be self-employed

Familiarisation training on location will be given to the selected candidate.
