Site and Garage Supervisor

A vacancy for a site and garage supervisor has arisen with Green Skip Services Ltd, the leaders in the waste management industry in Malta and with over 25 years of experience providing a variety of services for this industry together with waste consultancy services and sales of materials and equipment.
The candidate will be managing the materials reclamation facility and reporting to the managing director. Candidate will be required to manage the overall operation, maintenance and security of facilities which includes the workforce equipment and vehicles and grounds.

Qualifications

Main responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for control of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to environmental compliance.
Maintain compliance with all procedures, policies and regulations and ensure timely response to regulatory issues.
Supervision and work coordination of employees to ensure targets are achieved
Candidate must have a flexible approach a can do attitude and willing to assist the team when required.
Experience in supervising a waste management facility and garage personnel would be given preference.
Occupational health and safety awareness required.
IT literate
Candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
A technical / mechanical engineering background or previous experience in a similar position would be considered an asset.
Applicants must be in possession of a valid work permit and willing to take professional waste management training when required.
