Altern Limited is a Maltese company working in the “Sustainability and Alternative Energy” Sector, with the target market being the industrial and commercial sector. In the past years Altern has been invovled in a number of unique projects within the areas of Energy Auditing, Energy Management, Solar Energy, Battery Storage, Co-generation; and the design, manufacturing and implementation of LED lighting. The Altern Team comprises of engineers, technicians, and installers, with extensive technical experience.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

The ideal candidate should be in possession of an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Malta or equivalent university.

The successful applicant will be involved in:
? Supporting the Engineering and Installation team in the design, building, testing and commissioning of PV and LED systems
? Support the Energy Management team on Energy Auditing, Energy Management and report compilation
? Designing, Monitoring and Testing of systems as per engineering standards

All applicants are expected to have:
? A clean driving licence
? A good technical & academic background
? Good experience in the use of engineering softwares
? High motivation and capability of working on own initiative and with minimum supervision
? The capability of undertaking the completion of projects
? Good Project Management Skills both off and on site
? Ability to work in a team and leading people
? Hands on experience is considered as an asset

Training shall be provided for any area worked upon, and the candidate may be selected for exclusive training and courses as part of their on-going growth.
