A multi award-winning restaurant group is looking for BREAKFAST CHEFS to join our restaurant in Senglea. Famed for its unique dining concepts, the group is renowned for its excellence in quality cuisine and kitchen brigade. The restaurant serves Modern Mediterranean fusion cuisine, has an extensive fine wine list and is located within a luxury hotel hosting spectacular views of Birgu City and the Grand Harbour.

We are looking for the perfect candidates who will be employed on a full time/part time basis and responsible for creative, first class food to an esteemed clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after breakfast in preparation for lunch
-Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
-Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
-Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the Head Chef.
-Carry out any other duties as required by management.
-Strong communication skills & an outgoing personality. English & secondary language will be an asset.
-In possession of all necessary work permits to work in Malta
-The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, have physical stamina, creative flair, flexible schedule, organisational skills, team mentality and leadership skills
-Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.

Qualifications

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 1+ years’ experience in catering
-Comprehends and understands the importance of providing top-quality breakfast service
-Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a truly delicious and memorable breakfast
-Available for immediate employment
-Posses all relevant documentation/permits necessary for employment in Malta
