Experienced Screen Printer
Direct Imaging Ltd.
Whilst reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Screen Printer is responsible to ensure that the quality and colour of printed products meet the customer job specifications. Prior to the print run, the Screen Printer is expected to set the printing machines and material in order to accurately produce products including garments and merchandise.
Duties
• Print products in high quality according to the job sheet within the stipulated production time
• Assist Technical Coordinator in printing products
• Upkeeping screen printing equipment
• Maintain printing machines
• Verifies count, colour, and sizes of garments
• Produce mock-ups to verify work with client
• Assist in formulating technical printing process standards as instructed by the Technical Coordinator
• Mixing and loading print ink
• Inspect screen for defects and prepare screens for printing
• Determine the type of ink needed and mixes batch accordingly using scales and formulation
• Starts machines and performs trial runs to verify accuracy of machine setups
• Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed
• Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position and department
• Store and pack merchandise products
• Support the business and the Top Management as required

• Have a working knowledge of the chemicals used and their proper handling procedures

• Have great expertise in the printing industry

• Have a good command of speaking and writing skills in English
Education and Training
• Diploma in Printing is considered to be an asset
