Social Media & Community Manager

The Network

We are looking for a professional and experienced Social Media and Community Manager to join us and to take the lead in creating Malta's most sought after venue and community and to establish and support our brand’s presence across all social channels.

You will translate the brand’s identity and tone into original, compelling social and interactive content. The right candidate will be as creative and aesthetically minded as he/she is analytical and data-driven.

You will oversee all marketing initiatives across multiple platforms to drive engagement, sales and retention leading to a positive consumer community that people are striving to be involved with.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

-Work with the team to define and implement a unique, brand-right voice and aesthetic across all social channels that’s as inspiring as it is inciting.

-Manage day-to-day drafting, deployment, and development of channels (including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter)

-Cultivate relationships in partnership with local media both on and offline.

-Monitor and forecast digital trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and risks; assess competitors and make recommendations for improvement.

-Take ownership of daily content strategy, output across social channels.

-Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics reports.

-Design and facilitate annual social media budget.

-Define and implement unified social programs and strategies to increase awareness, audience, and engagement

-Build and maintain a social calendar to promote products, events, and brand initiatives

-Be able to photograph and design in-house graphics and media to create original content.

-Build and maintain all social communities.

-Establish metrics and goals for tracking social media reach and impact; report on those insights on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

-Expand our overall presence by executing digital word-of-mouth programs and strategic influencer partnerships.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

-At least 3 years work experience (editorial, fashion, wellness, lifestyle or startup industry preferred)

-Working knowledge of Malta and the local scene.

-Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment

-Excellent English communication: verbal and written

-Excellent time management/project skills

-Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands

-Comfortable and confident in making effective decisions in a timely manner

-Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results

Remuneration.

A base of €1600 - €2000 per month is being offered depending on experiences and project perspectives. A bonus structure to be negotiated which will be based on performance and successful launch of projects and reaching certain KPI’s
