Labourer / Painter

In this role you will be required to:

-Make on-site preparations such as scaffolding, covering fixtures and fittings etc.
-Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint.
-Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
-Plaster walls and gypsum boards with plaster and/or finitura
-Replacement of gypsum boards and finishing including plastering and paint
-Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right colour or texture.
-Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
-Apply varnish and other finishes.
-Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety precautions
-Have manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
-Be conscientious with great attention to detail.
-Have good time management skills.
-Be reliable and work both independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a busy environment considered to be advantageous
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Good understanding of how the role contributes to the success of the business
• Willing to attend company training and development programs
