We are currently seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for sourcing material from suppliers, organizing shipping and issuing purchase orders.
• Liaise with clients from time to time to keep abreast of their needs and requests.
• Making sure all products purchased are up to the desired quality
• Providing timely information for the formulation of forecasts
• Negotiate pricing whilst taking in consideration, lead time, quality and freight
• Source suppliers for new products needed
• General administrative work

Qualifications

• A level standard of education
• Good command on English language
• Must be Maltese speaking
• Italian will be seen as an advantage
• Excellent time management and organization
• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
• Good command of Microsoft Excel is a must
• Knowledge of Shireburn system and / or shipping experience will be given preference
