Qualifications

Role Purpose:
To execute all activities necessary to the efficient operation of the store, to ensure the provision of prompt and courteous service to all customers in order to maximize sales and customer service experience and to promote the company’s image of quality and professionalism.

Role Responsibilities:
• Liaise with clients in all areas of sales, providing a highly personalised approach.
• Meet set sales targets
• Focus attention on customer requests and be courteous at all times
• Offer guidance and suggest products specific to customers’ needs and requirements.
• Deal with customer complaints.
• Utilise specialist product knowledge.
• Monitor and update display areas.
• Process payments of various kinds.
• Count and balance cash register and receipts.
• Set up promotional displays; signs and/or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
• Train new sales staff in basic operations and procedures.
• Check inventory periodically to obtain reorder information to replenish stock; inform designated staff member of stock requirements.
• Check inventory listing with actual inventory on shelf and report discrepancies to line manager.
• Stamp or attach price tags on merchandise and/or checks tagged prices to verify accuracy referring to price list.
• Stock, replenish and clean sales areas.
• Ensure shop is always clean and tidy and displays are visually attractive

Applicants should be residents in the EU or have valid work permit documentation, have a valid school leaving certificate; be fully conversant in written and spoken English; be highly motivated to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
