Steward / Dishwasher

The Steward / Dishwasher would be responsible for providing cleaning service in the restaurant,
Basic functions of the Steward / Dishwasher may include but not limited to:
• Maintain optimum standards of cleanliness in line with the company’s operating procedures and hygiene standards.
• Prepares equipment in accordance with daily requirements.
• Cleaning and sanitation.
• Follow H&S procedures and instructions on material safety data sheets
• Cleaning and replenishment of supplies
• Cleaning of all floor surfaces, items, etc.
• Reporting of maintenance
• To participate in Training and Development programs offered by the organisation.
• Maintain a climate of friendly cooperation
• Avoids wastage of products and ancillary amenities offered to guests.
Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a hotel / restaurant or busy environment considered to be advantageous
• Previous experience working as a steward/dishwasher
• Willing to be trained on the company’s cleaning processes and cleaning products
• Verbal and written communications skills in English
• Eye for detail
• Physically fit and able to lift and move various items
• Willing to work on a shift basis in a restaurant environment
• Willing to attend company training and development programs
• Maintains a high level of personal hygiene
• Good time management
• Follows directions with ease.
