Construction Worker (Labourer, Helper, Builder)

Responsibilities and duties
Responsible for a number of on-site tasks, such as removing debris, erecting scaffolding, loading and unloading building materials, and assisting with operating heavy equipment.
Skills
• Perform all duties assigned by the Foreman
• Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks
• Work on equipment: construction site material (leveller/grader, excavator, mining machine, trucks..)
• Work on a construction site: Underground activities
• Clear and clean construction site (equipment, tools...). Removes waste materials like lead or asbestos.
• Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures or fill gaps (e.g cement)
• Digs trenches and cleans rubble and debris from a site prior to starting construction.
• Uses saws, hammers, nails and bolts for framing.
• Uses all types of power tools and large equipment including cement mixers, mechanical hoists and surveying equipment.

Qualifications

Language: English is mandatory.
