Sales Representative for Foodservice Clients

J&C Pisani Ltd is a leading and well established importer and distributor of frozen and chilled food products and the sole distributor of Dewfresh products. The company has over 120 years of experience in food trading and over the years it has built a wide portfolio of products
which it distributes to both the retail and the catering market.

The selected candidate will be part of the Food service sales team , regularly visiting existing and new clients in the catering sector.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Endeavour to retain the client database by also maintaining the necessary client relationship with existing clients;

• Generate and identify new sales leads / opportunities to maximise the sales route potential;

• Keep abreast of the company’s new products and be highly knowledgeable on their main selling points and specifications;

• Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager;

• Liaise with management to be able to attain and exceed monthly sales targets;

• Maintain a high level of customer relationships by meeting customers needs and expectations with a proactive, ethical and positive approach.

Qualifications

The Applicant must:

• Have a minimum of 2 years sales experience . Candidates with experience in food related operations in the catering industry and which have an understanding of food preferences and requirements of clients operating in this sector will be given preference.

• Have a flair for sales and a results-driven work attitude to achieve monthly targets.

• Be willing to work flexible hours when required and be willing to work out of own initiative.

• Possess good communication skills in English and Maltese.

• Have a positive and proactive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment.

• Have a clean police conduct and driving licence
