Restaurant Manager – Fine Dining - New Opening

The Grand Hotel is located in Gozo, Malta's sister island. Over the years, we have earned the reputation of being one of the best hotels on the island, thanks to a wide range of facilities and excellent customer service.
We are currently developing a 40-cover fine dining Restaurant located on the hotel’s rooftop, overlooking the Gozo channel and Mgarr Harbour; and are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to deliver high levels of guest service, to inspire, motivate and lead the front of house team to achieve excellent guest satisfaction.

This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to be involved from day 1 in this exciting project; a great role within a well-run organisation with a unique concept. Estimated opening date: end of June 2021.


Key Responsibilities:
• Help build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business
• Ensure the efficient flow of service and standards are constantly met during service
• Act as a role model to all employees by showing a positive approach to team morale through excellent support, training and communication
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
• Handling administration and paperwork, including health & safety and onboarding new staff

Key Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of the F&B industry
• Previous fine dining and/or 5* hotel experience is a must
