A vacancy for a 'fishmonger' on full-time basis, has become available. The chosen candidate will work a gourmet fish shop that serves fresh fish, a big variety of crudi, crustaceans, shellfish on a daily basis. In addition to this, the shop also provides ready dishes for clients such as tartares, ready marinated fish, ready marinated crudi and so on.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• The Fishmonger is responsible for the operations of the fish and seafood department, maintaining freshness and customer appeal through creative displays
• Reviewing stock on a regular basis
• De-scaling the fish and removing bones
• Gutting and cleaning the fish
• Ensuring that the product is stored properly at all times
• Advising customers as to which products to purchase
• Advising customers on how to store and cook the product correctly
• Filleting fish, marinating fish, preparing carpaccios and tartares
Candidates must be/can travel easily to Malta. Applicants must speak fluent English.
