ORDERS ADMINISTRATOR

Marsa Rebar Ltd

The successful candidates will be working as part of a team who will be responsible for process and reports to create daily manufacturing production schedules. S/He will help ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met.

Duties

• Calculate steel rebar bending schedules.
• Schedule order in proprietary software
• Provide quick responses to production issues.
• Examine customer orders, staff, inventory and machinery capabilities to effectively set
• Monitor manufacturing performance and actively adjust schedules in response to the equipment failures or supply shortages.
• Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and cut down on production cost through more effective scheduling.
• Ensure that company deadlines are met.
• Available to work on Saturday.
Skills
• Strong organisational and communications skills are also important.
• excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to adapt schedules in response to material shortages, equipment failures, or changes in customer orders
• strong math skills and be able to make precise calculations about material and staffing needs, production expectations, and manufacturing capabilities
• excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to apply the principles of manufacturing resource planning to daily operations
• Good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese language will be an advantage.

• bachelor’s degree. (Engineer, Economics or related to the position)


Experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in production control, inventory management, or planning.
