IT Support Specialist

International e-commerce company seeking to recruit an individual on a Full-time basis for the position of IT Support Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure that all the company’s systems and websites are operating efficiently through regular monitoring, reviews, maintenance and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the first point of IT Support contact for all staff.
• Assisting in installing, inspecting, and maintaining computers systems, IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Responding to enquiries regarding system operation from users, tracking of issues and solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to supplier or partner organisations as required.
• Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Administration and maintenance of WordPress sites.
• Performing daily system monitoring of servers.
• Monitor performance of the websites.
• Providing basic training to end-users when necessary.
• Maintaining an updated inventory for IT Assets.
• Ability to work on-call for critical issues as required.
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles.

Requirements
• Be a good team player and be mainly organised, meticulous, demonstrate outstanding multi-tasking abilities.
• ICT systems support administration experience in a similar role will be considered favourably.
• Speak in Maltese and English.

Qualifications

Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• An IT qualification
• Minimum of 1-year experience in IT support
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Windows 10 and Linux operating systems
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to prioritise your workload
• Be self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
