Description
A set of self-adhesive labels carrying the coats of arms of cities, towns and villages.
The cities are covered in 6 vertical format labels, each measuring 80 x 280 mm, each bearing the coat of arms of 2 cities for a total of 11 different cities ( since Valletta is accorded the honour of being covered twice! ).
On the other hand, the towns and villages are covered in 14 horizontal format labels, each measuring 295 x 95, and each bearing the coat of arms of 4 towns or villages for a total of 56 different towns and villages. The photo attached should make things much clearer!
From what I recall this set was issued to coincide with the first elections for Local Councils held in 1993.
Altogether a very nice set.
