Petter PA1 5HP 1950 model.
This engine is earlier than the Petter A1, I didn't find the model plate on it. For me, it is a Heavy duty Petter 5HP of 1950, petrol/paraffin, 4 stroke, side valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled, with the governor, impulse magneto, valve lifter, hand crank start, forced oil lubrication, and vee pulley for power take-off. It runs better on paraffin, and it revs up super, without pinking. Years ago this Petter was on a 20-foot fishing boat, on load and with a silencer, it runs perfectly on paraffin. It was stored in my garage, and the last time I started this engine was 10 years ago. You can see it on YouTube, by writing Zammit Nenu in the search bar.
