Description: Designed by the legendary Alan Pape this 17m Cutter Rigged Ketch was built by Curtis & Pape in Looe Cornwall under Lloyds survey and was originally commissioned in 1975. In 2001 she underwent a 3 year £250,000 complete refit. The interior refitted from solid cherry, with fielded panelled doors and beautiful curved fiddle rails. In 2004 ‘Keffy’ was honoured to lead the flotilla at the Best Classic Boat Festival. Since then she has travelled the Mediterranean, North Sea and Atlantic far and wide. Maintained to the highest standards, today she is berthed at the newly opened and exclusive Marina in Malta and is regularly seen leisurely cruising the western Mediterranean islands. With her classic lines, teak and varnish details she is a real head turner and equally at ease blue water cruising or circumnavigating. Her large luxurious solid cherry interior and spacious center cockpit with Bimini and enclosed removeable canvas surround provides endless opportunities for al fresco dining and entertaining. The forward cabin has a V shaped bunk and office area with adjacent Blakes toilet and shower, there are two large crew bunks, one off the saloon and one off the corridor leading to the spacious aft master cabin which is simply beautiful. The saloon seating area can be quickly changed to provide an additional double berth and the upstairs cockpit seating area can provide an additional 2 further large single berths if required, which is perfect for those balmy nights when on anchor watch. In total Keffy can sleep up to 10 persons comfortably.
