Peugeot 206 1.4 Hdi Wagon, unique opportunity, totally reconditioned.
Firstly, the car was always part of the family, was never involved in any major accident, always garaged and has absolutely no rust anywhere.
It drives like new. The reason I am selling it is that I am 74 and after I completely reconditioned it, I had a knee injury and cannot drive a manual car any more.
The works were done 3 years. ALL front suspension rubber bushes replaced including new wishbones, new shock absorbers front and rear engine, engine and gearbox mountings, new clutch new gear lever rubber assembly. It is the only way to make it drive and feel like new.
The engine received a comprehensive service including new timing belt, tensioners, oil cooler, water pump and valve cover gasket.
The AC never ever stopped working. The heater core was replaced with new. The radiator and hoses were not replaced since they were like new probably because we replaced the coolant with the correct one (180 degrees) every two years without fail.
All rims and tyres and hub cup replaced with new.
Front head lights and door mirrors replaced with new too.
The original upholstery was removed, dry cleaned, and everything re fitted again.
It has a Sony radio CD costing 323 Euros – 35 watts RMS x 4 channels. But to exploit this, you need good speakers. It still has the original door speakers only.
Next week some body panels will be sprayed only because they have some tiny dents on the doors and a small dent left side bumper mostly due to cramped parking while shopping. So they are really small.
You can see it as it is before spraying. You can deduct Euros 500 if you do not want to spray them.
Just imagine. I spent over 2800 Euros to get all this done and that is without adding the endless hours it took to get this done. So it is excellent value for money.
