This WB J1 has been made to specifications set by Wilfrid Buttigieg.

It has been designed as a hollow body electric archtop featuring a single Venetian Cutaway.

The fretboard inlays are block rectangles and the headstock features the Knights of Malta Grand Cross of Honour which is the logo for Chevalier guitars.

The body is 3.39 in (8.6cm) deep and it is 16.25 in (41.3 cm) at the lower bout.

The guitar has a maple laminated top, back and sides, with a set-neck made of mahogany.

The cutaway and the amplification of this jazz guitar allows players to use the uppermost frets on the neck during performances.

It has 2 humbucking pickups, each with a separate volume and tone controls, plus a 3-way pickup selector switch.
