Job Description
The Villa Bologna Restaurant is an Italian trattoria style restaurant that serves high quality classic Italian food in the gardens of Villa Bologna, one of the island most beautiful baroque houses.
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues ensuring the dishes are produced to the highest quality.
Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
Following directions provided by the Head Chef.
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
Managing and training any new employees.
Monitoring portion and waste control.
Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.
Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes.
Key Requirements:
At least 2+ years of proven experience similar role.
Passion for hospitality.
Attention to detail.
Self-motivated.
Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
Energy and enthusiasm for learning and developing.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
